CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The RDC-X Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC), in collaboration with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), held a two-day writeshop to capacitate members on Gender-Responsive Project Design/Proposal and Accomplishment Report Preparation.

The activity, conducted through videoconference from 7 to 8 April 2022, gathered 96 representatives from member agencies and local government units.

“The writeshop aims to equip its members with a deeper knowledge and understanding on how gender and development is mainstreamed in the agency’s/organization’s work and mandates. I am hopeful that this training will equip our RDC-X RGADC members in coming up with gender-responsive project proposals/accomplishment reports, integrating GAD elements based on the harmonized gender and development guidelines (HGDG) and project implementation, management, monitoring, and evaluation (PIMME) checklists,” opened Dr. Jesus Antonio G. Derije, DVM, RGADC Chairperson and President of Central Mindanao University at the start of the two-day activity.
